This contact with the environment is precisely the Observation that is the engine of all our actions, generating curiosity in us before a new stimulus or one that we had not previously known, and awakening in us the need to carry out an Investigation in this regard, a task that is repeated not only in our daily life and at all times, but also the fundamental step and the beginning of all Scientific Research.

Research is the way in which the human being can learn something new or something unknown and that is why it ends up being important and central in human life, since it ensures that knowledge is infinite, as well as learning and willingness. that we make of that new thing that we learn. Research can take an endless number of forms, some more formal than others, some more conscious than others, but it is a vital part of our lives as beings who can learn.

Scientific research: its particularities

As we said above, research is one of the most typical activities of the human being. His presence in our lives is fundamental. But the need for self-improvement that man has developed over time allowed him to make the way in which he investigates more and more complex, and that is when the concept of scientific research emerged. This concept is very specific since it refers to a type of investigation in which certain steps are followed and what has been learned is permanently verified or refuted, that is, knowledge is not given as eternally conclusive. The first step in scientific research is raising a doubt and its possible resolution, that is, the hypothesis that must be tested or eliminated as it is considered inadequate.

Finally, the investigation allows us to approach a Conclusion, which is applicable to a finite number of cases, or applicable to a theme in general, this process being what allows us to arrive at a Law or Principle that can predict the behavior or result. of an Experimentation or Essay that we do in the future, or at least until another investigation proves otherwise Refuting the Conclusion.

As we can see, a Scientific Investigation is governed by methodological steps, but the pillars are undoubtedly the need to carry out a Thorough Observation, and that later we choose the best way to achieve an Experimentation to be able to verify or refute what we are considering. .
