Poem by Antonio Machado
I knew as a child,
the joy of spinning
on a red steed,
on a night out.
In the dusty air
the candles sparkled,
and the blue night burned
all strewn with stars.
Childish joys
that cost a coin
copper, cute pegasus,
wooden horses!
