Meaning of Omnipotent

What is Omnipotent:

The term omnipotent or almighty comes from two words, omni-what does it mean alland powerfulwhat does it mean can. Therefore, someone omnipotent is a person who is capable of doing everything (or almost) anything, who can do everything, who encompasses everything, who does not have any type of difficulty. An omnipotent being is one who does not need anyone, is powerful in every way, has inexhaustible and limitless power, infinite and unlimited power.

Omnipotent is a term widely used to describe the power of God in various religions, such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc. The followers of these religions believe that his God is omnipotent, that he is a superior being, very powerful, with greater powers than any human being, and his power does not know any obstacle nor can it be exhausted. Although divine power cannot be understood, as it is that which, being able to do everything, may not comply with the laws of nature, physics and logic, or uses them in a different way, this power can exist and in fact exists. They can observe different events or miracles on a daily basis that challenge these types of laws that are insurmountable for human beings. For example, God can turn water into wine, walk on water, or be resurrected.

The term omnipotent arose in ancient Greece, with mythology, where these characteristics were often said to be omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Omnipotent is that being that has unlimited power, omniscient is the individual who has all the knowledge of the world, of all science, who knows everything, and omnipresent is the being that is present everywhere, in all places, in a way simultaneous, and these characteristics could only belong to one God.
