How to cite – Meanings

The reference or citation of the content of our website Meanings.com must be made following the style rules of the American Psychological Association (APA).

Our articles are produced collaboratively and are subject to editorial processes of continuous review and optimization by the entire team.

We have articles of individual authorship, without visible author or signed by reviewers:

Individual author: These are articles signed only by the person who wrote it.
No visible author: These are articles in the writing process of which several members of the team have participated from their different areas of knowledge and specialization. They are not signed by a particular author.
Reviewer: These are those articles that have been validated by a specialist in the field.

How to cite in each case?

Depending on the type of authorship or signature of the article, in the reference, the data must be placed in the following order: author and/or reviewer, title of the article in quotes, abbreviation in parentheses, name of the website in italics, email address, and date and time the query was made.

With individual author
