Hacking Definition

Piracy is a modern way of breaking the law but using computer means for it. Those affected by piracy are almost all people, public institutions, companies, foundations, etc. they are not aware of its existence.

For anyone who works with computers connected to the network of networks or the Internet, it is MANDATORY knowing that it exists, since ignoring it can mean losing our stored data or having to reinstall the operating system of the computer, with the consequent expense that it requires.

A hacker is a person who creates, through their computer knowledge, programs to make other people pay money to protect themselves and whose sole purpose is to infiltrate the victim’s computer in order to extort it, spy on it or, in the worst case, destroy all its information. Piracy taken to its broadest extremes is practiced by all of us. For example when we download a song, movie or any content from a page without paying royalties. This depends on which country we are in and the legislation in this regard. Piracy is basically the use of resources that have not been paid for and should have been paid for.

As you can see, the term hacking refers to many computer-level actions that are outside the law in general or outside the morals of the people or outside the laws of the country in which you live.

Copyright piracy causes many losses to companies, governments and institutions, however, it facilitates the day-to-day life of the ordinary user because he manages to use media that were previously only available to people with high purchasing power. However, getting things (whatever they are) through piracy means that it is not possible to know who they really come from, if from an honest person who wants to share or from a person who has modified the content to be downloaded so that it runs a malicious code that infests our computer and that sometimes costs us more than if we had bought original software.

Piracy is a double-edged sword, it is important to be up-to-date with our antivirus updates and that, if possible, it is not hacked, since no one would give you update support for a long time. The best defense against hacking is prevention and awareness that it exists.
