What is Disclosure
Disclosure is understood to mean act of making information public that is available to all people.
The word disclosure derives from Latin divulge, which refers to “disclose”. As a synonym for dissemination, the words dissemination, publish or information can be used.
The disclosure refers to the action of exposing and disseminating content that may be of public interest, whether on a general or specific topic. Currently there are a large number of tools and communication channels through which any content can be disseminated.
Therefore, the disclosure can be presented in different formats, whether written, video or audio. The important thing about dissemination is precisely to promote information and knowledge by making it available to everyone.
For example: “I am about to finish my article on animal adoption, tomorrow I will disseminate it through my blog”; “The professor congratulated his student for disseminating his thesis.”
Disclosure is only achieved when the person who possesses the information makes it available to others. The media are an example par excellence of what the dissemination of information is.
It should be noted that the information to be disclosed must have language consistent with the intended audience, be based on reliable sources, publicize concepts, results, events, opinions, analysis, new content, among others.
For example, disseminate new research and its results about global warming and its effect on climate change through a documentary. This content is intended for the general public, so it uses simple language, even when mentioning scientific terms.
Currently there are various media and dissemination channels. In fact, there is a significant number of information exposed through the media and the Internet that the public can access to find out about various political, social, cultural, sporting topics or events, among others.
However, since there is a massive dissemination of content, it is important that the public knows how to distinguish between true and accurate information versus that which is poorly founded or false.

Scientific dissemination
Scientific dissemination is that through which content of great scientific value and that is of general interest is made known. This information may cover technological, medical, industrial topics, among others.
Scientific dissemination consists of publishing various scientific theories, new advances, developments and discoveries, both for a specialized and general public.
This dissemination also makes use of the various information channels and tools that are available. However, its importance lies in the veracity of the information and its demonstration in many cases.
