Topics such as ethics, morality and the conduct of societies have been addressed for centuries by philosophy as a resource for: 1) a systematic search for the understanding of common phenomena in people’s behavior patterns; 2) the analysis of the instinctively natural organization of societies; 3) the interpretation of the collective aspirations and goals that lead to the development of a civilization; and 4) the orientation of the correct procedure for the materialization of ideas and thoughts, either from the individual or collective level. All this with the purpose of providing the greatest possible breadth on the potential causes and consequences of the problems inherent to humanity, as well as natural and universal phenomena.
Everything points to ancient Greece when philosophy is mentioned, and although it is true that the best-known and most transcendental thinkers in history emerged from this region, with Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, they correspond to a fragment of the time line. of the capacity that human thought has had to analyze the world in which it is immersed, although it constitutes a chapter to which we owe the nomenclature of the concept itself, explored by the minds of Descartes (1596-1650), Locke (1632- 1704), Kant (1724-1804), Marx (1843-1881), Nietzsche (1844-1900), Wittgenstein (1889-1951), and Sartre (1905-1980), among other essential personalities. Philosophy is the love for wisdomas understood by the ancient Greeks, who wondered about matters as fundamental as existence, knowledge, truth, or morality. Universal issues so primordial that concern the human being from its base as being aware of their own existence in the world. This love of wisdom was the first step that provided the first notions of knowledge for the Western world and? Today they represent the basis of Scienceas we know it today.
From thought to material construction
The rationalization of what is observed in the contemplation of the answers that satisfy human curiosity became the substantial basis of social, scientific and technological development, through the increase of the cultural level with all the new knowledge, which marks a forceful difference between the instinctive behavior of the original peoples and the accelerated technocratic evolution that has set the pattern in the last two thousand years, demonstrating the importance of organized and critical thinking for the satisfactory achievement of the materialization of ideas and how these are built based on what is perceived from the environment.
To a certain extent we all have the ability to philosophize, and we frequently do so through strategies such as meditation to be able to elucidate the answers to particular situations that we need to solve, however, true philosophy understood as an area of study has a more universal character in his construction of ideas and analysis, through which he seeks to provide contributions to problems on the scale of all human endeavor.
The recognition of the Self
Another of the greatest positive impacts of philosophy has been the exploration of the components that allow the construction of one’s own thought and its identity through the particular essence of the person, as a resource for resolving the inherent questions about the human origin, its deepest nature and its destiny. Throughout this search for the human essence, many have been the answers that provided the necessary bases for the development of science, thus emerging physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics, as basic natural sciences, but also sowing the foundations for medicine, ethics, and psychology, all of them with the necessary pragmatic character that philosophy models from the logical reasoning of experiences and the functionality of human intervention in them.
This incessant search for answers is stimulated by the need to reach the truth, an inconceivable truth in a single form and where philosophy itself assumes the subjectivity of its essence, opening the doors to the debate of thoughts originated from variable optics in time. and space as the nature of the phenomena to which it intends to respond, guiding us towards the development of transdisciplinary potential, both of the same critical thinking in a single person, as well as the also necessary experience of sharing between the various areas of knowledge, capacity of teamwork that has further promoted scientific and technological development in recent decades, for which reason philosophy continues and will continue to direct human action under the banner of reasoning, in order to allow us to proceed more and more correctly, the Which makes it easier for us to find potential answers to the questions that we will have to ask ourselves as solutions are revealed for everything that in our still short existence we have released from Pandora’s box and that we now focus on reversing, both for ourselves and for others. the rest of the planet.
