The term boarding is one that is used to refer to the moment in which a person or an object is introduced to some type of vessel to be transported from one place to another. Normally, the term is used when talking about boats, planes or trains, although the word boat and the word boarding both come from the noun boat. The shipping process is obviously different if it involves people or objects, and it is also different if it deals with objects that are shipped for commercial purposes or if they are part of a person’s luggage.
When we talk about shipping commercial products, we must point out that it is always done in a significant amount of materials to be shipped depending on the type of product. If boats are used, the shipment is made in the famous containers or gigantic metal containers in which tons of weight enter. Each ship can carry hundreds of these containers and in this case we are talking about ships specially designed for this task.
The boarding of people is the process by which an individual agrees to travel based on compliance with different requirements and passing through various spaces in which it is verified that they comply with them: that they have their ticket, their personal documents and all other material that is necessary. Depending on the type of means of transport, the boarding process can last more or less. Boarding a plane can normally take a couple of hours as well as disembarking.
Currently, the boarding and disembarkation stations of planes, ships or trains tend to be large, have numerous services and are the arrival and departure center of thousands of daily trips due to the high regional and international traffic that exists in all the planet.
